About

Hi. I’m Tim, a software engineer from Green Bay, WI. I am passionate about building useful software that improves the lives of those around me. I am a avid learner and enjoy learning about new techniques and technologies. When I am not solving problems, I enjoy playing guitar, soccer, and skiing during the winters.

I started programming in early high school when I started hacking around Halo 2. I leveraged the internet to learn about binary and hexadecimal representation and started making edits to the game’s code. Since then, programming has always been a major interest.

Later in high school, I took a programming class. Intro to Java Programming would teach me about using an IDE and basic programming structure. I eventually found myself in college learning about machine architecture where my interest was perfectly realized. In between classes, I created a black jack simulator as a way to learn Java more in depth. This would ultimately help me land my first job.

As I started with my first job, I continued to learn things outside of the job’s domain. I bought a few Rasperry Pis to teach myself about networking and web servers. I ultimately built a home server to more efficiently house these learning projects. Throughout the years, I have not yet stopped learning about computers and programming. I also keep up with learning songs on the guitar, playing soccer in local leagues, and, of course, skiing whenever I can.

I always try to be positive yet realistic in all situations. I am effective at solving difficult problems with efficient solutions. I can prioritize and maintain productiveness throughout the whole development cylce. I can bring a substantial value to a team and always look to collaborate with those around me.
